Rock City Tattoos & Body Piercing

I have been going to Rocks for the past 4 or 5 years, I've had at least 4 of my tattoos done there. My niece has had her nose pierced there twice. I have also brought friends who have also had at least 3 or more tattoos there. Rock is very pleasant, with a great sense of humor. Also the rest of the staff if very friendly, and very eager to help from the minute you walk in the door. Great place to go !!!!

Rock city tattoo was absolutely fantastic!!!! I highly recommend it for people who are looking for great art and talented individuals all across the board.

I would recommend, would not want to go anywhere else. The place is well kept, although there is a random tube in the bathroom the receptionist makes up for it. The artwork is dope. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I went in today for a nose piercing and I had the most amazing experience here ! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! It was the best experience I've had this far.

It was the first time I went there and the piercer who didn't introduce himself nor give me a proper hello left me uncomfortable.
He asked if I was the annoying girl early that asked too much questions, when they were all questions related to cost of various piercing and he refused to give me any information on stretching. He then asked me what I wanted and when it was my turn to he said to me:
"Let's go Asian chick."
I was offended and said I was Latin. He didn't apologize and said it was close. Again, offensive! When I went to the back I had to sit cross legged. It was uncomfortable and the seat had junk cluttered to the left of me.
He also didn't wash his hands before touching my ears, but just slipped on gloves. I asked if I can get stones as I would prefer green ones and he took it as offensive and told me to not tell him how to do his job.
And when it was time for the stretching, he didn't warn me but just put it in and excepted me to go through the pain without giving me tips. Had I not done some deep breathing the entire experience would be very painful.
I was completely uncomfortable with him as he gave me too much personal info of his life and kept giving me comments of me being cute. When the stretching was done the only thing he said was to take medicine to keep the swelling down and get bacatrine, but not how long I can keep these stainless steel tunnels in.
I will not come here again, nor will I recommend him to anyone. If you can, go to Dominic's shop Invisible Self in Lyndhurst. The cost is more, but it's worth it!
He has been in this business for over 20 twenty years and is friendly and makes me feel comfortable from beginning to the end of the process. He also gave me me an email should I have any questions after the piercing is done.
