Believe the hype, this place has some great pizza. My go-to is the cheese-ist Christ. Be prepared for a wait during peak times. Luckily the pizza comes out pretty quickly. Good beer list.

OVERHYPED! Clearly this place was only reviewed by hipsters that are not indigenous to Brooklyn. Any REAL Brooklyn native would agree. The pizza itself is not bad but definitely not the best, I say Pauly Gees and Di Faras are way better, and the prices are overinflated at this spot to make up for the cost of creating and running this hipster sanctuary. Will not return. 2 stars because I'm fair.

Is there a hipster in Brooklyn that didn’t visit Roberta’s yet?? If there is one, he is not a hipster LOL
I know that many people are too lite with the combination of the words “the best”, but this is the term I will use to describe the pizza I had here, the best. In the US? Maybe, in the world? I am not sure. But from now on, whenever I will have guests who will tell me “Take me to eat the best Pizza”, I will bring them here.

If you are a pizza aficionado (aka - pizza nerd), Roberta's should be on your list to hit while in NYC. It's a bit of a hike if you are in the city, but well worth the effort.
I went during lunch time and was happy that there was no wait. The space is fairly large, but the best view is in the main dining area where you have a view of the pizza oven.
I went with a Famous Original pizza which had the perfect combination of ingredients. The mozzarella was well portioned and delivered goodness in every bite. The crust had a nice char and I appreciated that the dough was freshly made.
Their is also a solid selection of craft beer on what appears to be a rotating tap list.

Maybe the best Pizza I ever had, in New York or in my entire life. The place is like a hipster's kingdom:, and their places usually are usually more hip than good food, but the pizza I had here was so good, that i felt confident enough to recommend many people about it, and made me feel confident to tell them that this may be the best pizza they will eat.
