Great shop. The service and prices are excellent and they have great people working there.

Road Runners is my local spot and I couldn't be happier to have such a great shop so close to home. Over the past 6 years I have brought my mountain and road bikes to Rick and his dad and have received superior service, whether it be something small like buying a brake cable or something large like a warranty issue. Prices are always fair and service is quick and reliable. Rick is a very talented mechanic, not to mention a skilled frame builder. If you live on the North Shore of Long Island this is the bike shop to support!

I've recommended friends to this shop for good reason. Knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. When my usual shop had backlog for service, I brought a bike in right before a race. Super fast turn around and the bike was DIALED in. Rick pulled me out of a jam and earned my respect. I've since been back numerous times and proudly recommended him to my friends.

I WAS SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING, I ATTEMPTED TO BUY THE BIKE I WANTED 3 TIMES...THE FIRST 2 TIMES THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD PUT THE BIKE TOGETHER AND THAT I SHOULD COME BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY WHEN I CAME BACK THE BIKE WAS SOLD, THE 3RD TIME I TRIED TO PAY IN ADVANCE TO ASSURE THAT THE BIKE WOULD BE READY, BUT THEY WOULD NOT TAKE PAYMENT AND ASSURED ME EVERYTHING WOULD BE FINE, THEY NEVER GOT MY BIKE SHIPPED AND AGAIN WAITED..THE BIKE ARRIVES THEY PUT IT TOGETHER AND DON'T BOTHER TO CONTACT ME AND TELL ME THAT THE WRONG BIKE WAS SHIPPED! I CALLED AND CALLED AND I WAS ASSURED EVERYTHING WAS FINE....THE STAFF WAS CONDESCENDING AND RUDE (YES RICK I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU) THEY RAN OFF A VERY SERIOUS CUSTOMER AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!
