I had a 9:10am appointment and waited for one hour and 20 minutes to be seen by the doctor. The vitals and ekg, were done 30 minutes after I arrived at 9am. Unprofessional and poor practice to wait so long for the doctor. And I have good insurance. I asked and still waited 30 minutes extra.

This rating is applicable only to the pediatric center. I do not think any other such center provides 24x7 support (Doctors are available only till 10:00 pm). The wait time is usually long as not everyone comes for an well-visit. Still I would give them a 5 star because of the round the clock availability.

Reasons for my rating. I set an appointment because I have other things to do that day. Had 11am appt. Came in at 1040am. Didn't get seen by doctot til 1150pm. What's the point of setting appt if I still have to wait this long. If you are understaff then don't provide me with appt. while waiting in the room, I can hear their staff outside the room talking about nonsense. Not very professional for a work environment. Definately last time I come back here. New patients be warned and parking is nonexistent. I wish Google would allow me to rate a zero

I have been a client of this practice for some time now but today's visit has forced me to look elsewhere. While the practice has some excellent medical professionals that I will sorely miss, the group has a bad habit of overbooking by way too much (so much so that in the past a cop has actually come to deal with the resultant car overflow that results and spoke with the practice about halting such behavior). Today I had a 3:00 pm appointment and was not seen until 4:28pm. This is not the first time I have waited for over an hour at the group and in all honesty that is the norm more than the exception.
If this is ever fixed I will gladly go back to some of the great professionals there but such a disregard for their clients time is very off putting - especially when you HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.

I visited Riverside Medical Group in Secaucus to see ENT Dr Reitzan in Sept 2014. I paid my co-pay upfront ($75) and went in to see the doctor. She did a simple ear wax removal and suggested getting an ear test done after the procedure. Nothing was mentioned about seeing a new doctor and I was under the impression that a nurse was going to do it.
After waiting for about 20 minutes, I asked if I was still getting an ear test done. Then another lady who sits in the same floor did some basic ear sounds to check my hearing. I went home.
Some weeks later, I receive a bill from Riverside for my out of pocket expenses. I talked to my Aetna insurance and asked why they didn't cover the hearing test as it was all included as part of one visit.
They informed me that since I saw a new doctor (Dr Cohen -- audiologist) and hence the remainder was my co-pay which Riverside was asking for. I called up Riverside's billing department. After much back and forth for several days, I got fed up of them.
If the doctor or nurse had warned me that I needed to pay co-pay again for a STUPID 10-min hearing test, I would have never gotten it done as I didn't need it.
They kept me on hold and kept saying they will talk to their supervisor but ultimately said I was responsible for paying $75 again for seeing a new doctor. I told them to speak to my insurance company but I was made to do all the calling and still suffer.
Riverside Medical Group have lost my trust and I will never recommend this place to anyone else. Beware of seeing a doctor here. I could have just bought a $10 ear wax removal machine and solved my problem myself. Instead I had to pay $150. Horrible experience.
