Excellent newance food and super tasty dinner. Highly recommend this place expecially for a decent business lunch or formal meal.
The bill won't break the bank as much as you would think.
House wine is decent as well.

Beautiful restaurant! I could've spent an eternity there, very serene and romantic. Had lunch with the girls for restaurant week. The grilled flatirion steak was perfect but I needed more...much more! Portion was very conservative. Desserts were creative and good, not too heavy, had the lemon meyer tart. Cannot wait to come back. Will probably come back for dinner...where the portions would be larger..right???

This is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view over the East River. Located inside the Alexandria Center, by the FDR Drive. I rarely adventure myself in that area, but I really wanted to try this restaurant.
I came here during the New York Restaurant Week:
Celery Root Soup: five-spiced apples, hazelnuts, trout roe. The waiter pour the soup at the table. I liked the pieces of poached apples in the soup.
Altantic Salmon: roasted beets, celery root, horseradish, parsley. The salmon has a crispy skin, very flaky. A colorful plate with the root vegetables.
House-Made Fries: homemade dijonnaise mustard, ketchup.
Meyer Lemon Tart: macaron, mascarpone cream, earl grey, candied kumquats, meyer lemon sorbet. It's gluten-free since the macaron is made with almond flour. It's citrusy and fresh, but the macaron is very sweet and dense.
The dishes are beautifully presented and looks delicate like a piece of art. Sitting at a table by the window makes it even more enjoyable. It's a wonderful experience to eat here and the service is nice. The restrooms are located outside of the restaurant, near by the lobby desk of the building.

Get the Chocolate Truffle Cake. Even if you just come from the cake. It's enough to warrant a trip. I wish I had a good picture, but it was devoured too quickly. Serious Chocoholics only - not the milk chocolate, light stuff - the dense, full, heavy chocolate loving kind. Incredible. Also had the special. Pig tail... because "why not"? Thought it was paired nicely with collard greens and black-eyed peas. Very similar to pork belly, just has a bone.

I took my family to Riverpark restaurant to celebrate the graduation of my sister in a unique setting. Despite having requested this multiple times in advance, they were unable to give us a table with East river view. As this was the main reason we had chosen this restaurant, it was a huge disappointment. Taken this aside, we had a very good dinner. The ‘Pekin duck breast’ as well as the ‘Piedmontese ribeye’ were largely appreciated by everyone in the family. Congratulations also for the sommelier, who showed a splendid knowledge of her wine list, as well in combination with the different dishes.
