Reviews to River Walk Bar & Grill
I took my sister to Roosevelt island to take the tram (recommended for tourists and cheap romantic getaways with a swipe of a Metrocard) and we walked into Riverwalk with empty stomachs given it being the only restaurant around.
+ Convenience - Steps away from the F subway station.
+ Food - We ordered sandwiches - classic diner food, not anything to rave about. The sweet potato fries were a hit. I do wish the portions were larger.
- Service - After eating our meal, the game of 'search for the waitress' ensued for 10 minutes. I was not surprised. Riverwalk Bar & Grill is a monopoly on Roosevelt Island.

One of NYCs best kept secrets. Fair prices, good food, and rarely crowded around lunch time. Great place to meet and talk over lunch.

Ordered 2 hamburgers. One of them on the kids menu. Price was more than reasonable. $7 for kids and $10 for adult. Both come with fries. Fries were great. Burgers were horrible. Quality of meat was very poor and had very little flavor. Also took 10 minutes for them to bring mayo that I requested on a non busy Sunday afternoon. Bring your own lunch, get something at the Starbucks across the street or eat in Manhattan.

This place used to be great, especially for softballers making the trek to Roosevelt Island and needing a place to hang out after the game. They even give discounts to most leagues. But the last 3 times I've been there, they serve you SEVERELY watered down pitchers of beer. I've never had a beer that tasted so carbonated and strange. Watering down Bud Light...seriously, guys?
