Reviews to Rite Aid Pharmacy
As a physician, I would never recommend this pharmacy. The pharmacist did not call me when he lacked the prescribed dose, so that I could prescribe a different dose with different instructions (like take half) and then he would not fill the script even though it was 5 minutes before the pharmacy closed. This is appalling service, medically unsound, and indifferent to the well-being of the patient.

Never had a problem with shopping at Rite Aid, however the only two times i dealt with the pharmacy I was treated horribly by the pharmacist Vebbi. As I was waiting to be helped, Vebbi was on the phone with another customer being extremely sarcastic and disrespectful. After the phone call with the customer she turned around to mock the customer with her coworkers. First off, I been waiting for some good time now the first priority should be to help the waiting customer, not mock the previous one on the phone who had every reason to be upset by the way she was speaking to her. Second, it is not good business to behave like that in front of other customers. Knowing she had a bad attitude, when she finally came to help me I was extra sweet. I told her specifically, I do not have my insurance card but I have my medicaid card and my insurance card information that was provided by health first. She handed back my prescriptions and told me I could not be helped without my insurance card. I KINDLY explained that it was still in the mail because my plan just started but I have the required information. The attitude I got back was uncalled for, I was in shock by her choice to speak to me so disrespectfully when I was nothing but sweet. I walked out of the store super offended. Today I called my insurance and explained that I wouldnt be helped, they explained to me that as long as i had the information that was needed there should be no reason to refuse to assist me. I called the pharmacy back and explained I was refused to be assisted because I did not have my insurance card but did not understand because I had my insurance information that was needed. Of course the other person on the line is the not so lovely Vebbi. She goes "oh your the one with medicaid. yeah you showed me your medicaid card you need your insurance card." STILL she is not listening to what im explaining. I explained again, and just started giving her the information to put down in the system. She told me "i didnt refuse to help you, you had a medicaid card". After this response for the second time, I kindly explained it was possible that she did not understand what I was explaining at the time I was giving her my prescriptions. Her response " DOES IT SOUND LIKE I KNOW ENGLISH?" ::CLICKK::
This is not quality service at rite aid. It turns out that I didnt have to keep waiting for my card, i was in fact always able to get my medications WITHOUT the card as long as i had my information (which i did). Instead of Vebbi refusing to help me because I did not have my card, she could of suggested that I call for information if she seriously thought i didnt have it. But she KNEW I had it, I told her over and over. Her response was no card no help. Either she is not informed of the rules there in the pharmacy, or she was having a bad day and wanted to continue her attitude and refusal of help with me. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY. Because I am a college student? Because I have medicaid? Because I was nothing but polite and kept swallowing your attitude in hopes just to get my medication?
I never call in to complain, but I had to call corporate on this one. I am not trying to buy a sweater here that is no big deal, I am trying to get medication to take care of my health. She should of helped me get my medication instead of handing my prescriptions back right away showing no care to my problem.
