Pharmacist and staff are a pleasure. The store is well stocked, organized and never a hot mess. Love this store.

During my last attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt, I was visiting to buy reading glasses. The glasses rack was 3/4 blocked by cardboard boxes so I proceeded to the pharmacy window to ask for assistance. I apparently interrupted what seemed to be a private chit-chat between the assistant and the pharmacist, and the assistant assured me she would be with me shortly. Forgetting that there was no real reason for me to wait, I only focused on how I please needed glasses and if she could please get someone to clear the stand for me, thank you.
In very poor English (that's someone who deals with drug prescriptions, mind you) she instructed me to go look for the manager myself. He's usually in the front. Usually. I asked her if she could please get him on the intercom, but she said "you can get him yourself, it's OK".
I frowned but I, again, let go. I went to the front, and the man was, sure enough, nowhere to be found. I go to the back again, have to interrupt the same conversation between the same people, and am instructed to wait again. I say nothing. When she showed up again and I stated my case, her reply this time was "no, he must be somewhere in the front. Go look better". I felt like I was starting to lose my marbles. With the last drops of my patience I ask again "you can't call him on the intercom yourself? Ma'am, I need your help here." Her final (and totally serious) answer was "it's ok you can find him yourself. Go look." Literally "go look"!!!
At which point I flipped and gave her a piece of my mind.
I decided to take my business elsewhere as I hear her calling for help from the PA while I was walking out.
So far I've had this pharmacy mix up my prescription volume (twice), write different dosage instructions on the label than the Dr ordered (once), take hours to fill a prescription even as they assured me of the delivery time on the phone (3 times for me and 2 for my wife), completely ommited to prepare my prescription from a day back and only did do when I showed up at, with the excuse that they were busy (I walked into an empty store at midnight and she was texting) and, finally, have to put a real effort to communicate in English since nobody bit the Rx seems to be speaking it at a level adequate enough to be dealing potentially dangerous pharmaceuticals.
But I was so abhorred by my last abysmal visit that I intend to contact and pester HQS until I get a satisfactory reply.

Lines r a little long sometimes, but overall good service(people don't realize that there is another rite aid on 207th & Sherman). Sometimes u may have 2 get a rain check cuz few items 4 so many people. But, It's even better now that they r 24hrs.
