This is my neighborhood store. I go there all the time to shop. Today I needed to buy cough and cold medicine which is over the counter. The rude cashier said, "date of birth" I asked what for, she just kept repeating date of birth then said the computer was asking for it. I said I didn't want the item. She had such a nasty attitude I said I didn't want the other items on the counter. She then yelled out how it was OK so other customers would look at me. It was embarrassing. Then she called the manager to clear the register and yelled it was because of asking for my date of birth. She is so ignorant. She is clueless. I went to CVS and purchased the cough and cold medicine with no issue. The register said the purchase needed age verification and the clerk punched in something and I swiped my card. Simple. Can't you see I am over 18yrs old. It is completely inappropriate for me to yell out my personal information in front of a line of customers.
