Rite Aid Pharmacy

This is the worst pharmacy in the world. DO NOT GO HERE. I have cancer and they gave me a generic anxiety pill that did not work and only increased my anxiety. I have been taking this med for years - their generic brand is just really low quality and bad. When I called them, every person I spoke to was incredibly rude, repeatedly cut me off, and told me that it was not their problem. They also didn't care if my insurance would not fill another prescription for 30 days. Again, they told a cancer patient that it wasn't their problem and they didn't care if I had no anxiety meds for a month. This is how much they care about you and your health.

Glad they alway have what I need. Its a PLUS being a rite aid member, being that you get 20% off every purchase. So glad also for the reward points they offer for money off future purchases.

Has all my needs. Could care less about the staff as long as I'm in and out. Seriously. It's a pharmacy purchase your items and go about your day.

The store is devoid of energy and visible management. The clerks at the front end are friendly enough, but extremely slow. I kind of dread having to go there because there's often a long line and one person working at the register while others hide out in the side office. On one visit, there was a line of at least ten people. I asked the cashier politely to please ask for some back up. She said OK and continued checking customers out. I walked over to the office/hide-out and loudly informed them that front end was swamped and to PLEASE lend a hand. Only then did someone SLOWLY saunter over and open up a register. If there is any management present, they were not giving up their identity. For a store with this much square foot of retail space, there needs to be decent staffing at peak times. Note: Extremely high red-lined prices except for "wellness" discounts. Check out with debit card is a maze of computer prompts on the card reader. Ridiculous.

The pharmacy and their staff are great but 9/10 times we go there the front register staff have to be the slowest and lazy people around. Constant waiting in line, average wait there is about 5 mins in line, if you're lucky and managers and other staff just walking around as if nothing is happening. We've actually contacted Rite Aid in regard to this and nothing has been done. On several occasions, I've even asked the staff if they could put more people on the tills due to 15-20 people in line and 1 maybe 2 till operators and their response, oh I'm not the manager, its not my job... Nice store, but honestly, idiots running it. So the 2 star rating is all for the pharmacy and nothing else...
