Staff is nice but this place is atrociously understaffed at all hours. I've never been here without a line.

My experience is not as bad as other reviews. It's not the best, but not horrible. Sure, the place is cluttered and there's a line at the pharmacy. But this seems like my experience in almost every place in NYC. I'm still going to keep going back because it's conveniently located and the pharmacists are pretty nice so far.

Store looks depressing, always seems understaffed. Cashier always chatting while dealing with change and ringing up items.

Eternally understaffed and generally terrible. Avoid at all costs. Avoid twice if you need medicine to live because you may not get it.
I've even called to complain but it doesnt matter. Rite Aid doesnt care about customer service for some reason.

This is the worst pharmacy I've been to. It's very close to where I live, but I've stopped going there.
Final straw: I tried to get my RX filled, and was told I'd need my doctor to call my insurance company to justify the medication. My doctor did so. We all waited for United Healthcare to call the doctor or the pharmacy and give their approval. Turned out, the pharmacist just never read the screen in the first place. All they had to do was hit 'override' and I could have had the meds right away, instead of waiting three days. Or they could have called the number below the override code, and been told the same thing.
If this were a sandwich or t-shirt purchase, it would be acceptable. This is medication. It's not.
