I want to take this time to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for the amazing care, love & total compassion for my senior dog Ishboo Bojangles.....He is 15 1/2 years old with mobility issues....The amazing staff made sure he was comfortable at all times..He was hand fed and walked with the fabulous techs...Keith the administrator has been more than helpful in making me feel at ease leaving him.....Dr. Healey is his main Vet. She made sure he was all right & was sure to check on him every day during the week that I was on vacation....This was the first time I ever boarded my baby boy......Every day they emailed me pictures with an update...I called everyday and who ever answered the phone took the time to update me.....If you ever need care, please bring your pet to Ridgewood Vet Hospital........I would highly recommend them.....

Dr. Dean Cerf is a weird combination of compassion and intelligence - a scientific mind where the gears are always turning, yet so kind to me and my dogs. Made himself available at all hours. Has a gift for explaining complex concepts in simple terms.
The clinic is more than 2 hours away, but I'd go twice as far. Had three canine cancer surgeries there, and always felt as if I were the only client.
State of the art technology. Super-sweet staff. More money, yes. But you get what you pay for.

I cannot imagine entrusting the care of our treasured family members to anywhere else. Yes, they may cost a bit more, but what veterinarian is willing to call you at 11 pm to discuss the critical results of your dog's test and will talk with you for as long as you need. This type of heartfelt care has been demonstrated over the 14 years. Their careful examinations, advice and treatment have most certainly extended the length and quality of Woody and Abigail's lives.

I have been a client for over 30 or more years. Dr. Cerf and his staff are the best
in up-to-date care, expertise, loving care of not only my pet but everyone else.
To me Ridgewood Vet Hosp. is the best . If the pet's condition cannot be cared
for here they will be referred to a specialist. All the vets take an avid interest in
their furry patients and have a super bedside manner with not only the pet but
the stressed owners. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, I
give RVH a 12.

On the second day of my vacation three thousand miles away, my dog Maggie Mae took seriously ill. Aware of my circumstances Dr. Hartwick called me on my cell phone as soon as she had completed her examination. She was extremely thorough in detailing possible problems that required further testing. The following day she apprised me of the need for surgery and the prognosis for Maggie in having the surgery. From there Dr. Dean Cerf took over and agreed to come in on the following day to do surgery. He too kept me informed every step of the way. Knowing that Maggie would need post-op care, he recommended that I continue the vacation. Days later I received videos of the recuperating Maggie which totally reassured me that she was on the mend. She continues to improve every day. For a twelve-year-old dog her recovery is a testament to these fine veterinarians.
