Ricky's NYC

I have just had the worst customer service experience with RICKY'S NYC I have ever encountered online. I placed an order, the order was cancelled without any notice, it took me over a week to get a new order after countless emails that I sent, and then I was promised that the order would be delivered next-day shipping. THE ORDER WAS NOT SHIPPED NEXT DAY. It was packaged with a bunch of priority shipping envelopes (weirdest shipping/packaging I've EVER seen). I also never got an order confirmation or a shipping label with the package. To top it all off, the product I received was damaged and they will not refund me the price I paid or send me a new one. After considering all of the stuff I had to go through to just get my initial order, I am appalled that there is so much disregard for me as a customer. For anybody in the market for beauty items, do NOT place online orders with them - you will likely regret it

Great place of costumes, and one of the most popular places in New York. I went in just recently via I was looking for options for Halloween and I was blown away by what they had to offer. Tons of costumes for kids at great prices, but the adult selection was too diverse in choices, but were still great visually and style. I decided to buy some fangs to use for a upcoming short film and now know this as my location for options for clothing and props for photography or film. I was greeted about 5 times while in the store for 6-10 minutes, no long lines, and I felt good shopping there.

I get all my hair supplies here. Wax, brushes, shaving supplies and I even bought a clipper set here to trim my face and hair.

ricky's is the best store to go to on holloween! they have the best costumes and make up. they have awesome masks and cool stuff to really scare people. i go there every year on holloween and i get the best costume !

I was very disappointed to find that Ricky's is selling such a poor quality product. Their Special Effects line semi-permanent dye is TERRIBLE. It is leaving residue on everything I own. I knew it would be a long shot to try to get my money back, but I tried to anyway. At the store today, the worker who I spoke to was very rude to me, worsening this annoying experience. I definitely won't be purchasing any more dye from Ricky's and I won't be returning to that location either.
