Richter's Service, Inc. - Bosch Car Service

My car was repaired promptly and correctly after having another mechanic try for a while. It has been running fine. I can't say it was inexpensive, but it runs without a problem now.

I work with shop owners all over North America, and become very familiar with the type of people they are and how they run their shops. After working with Paul and Pauline Rennie of Richter’s Auto Service since 2012, I can say without hesitation that you won’t find a shop that’s more principle-centered or cares more about its customers. This is one shop that truly lives by the philosophy that they’ll never put money ahead of people.

I have always found them to be super reliable, with quick turnaround and fair pricing.

Beware. I had received a promotional deal in the mail for an oil change and a 21 point/3k service check at a reduced price. I knew my car needed to be serviced so I figured this would be a good time to go in. I drop it off and later that morning I get a call telling me that I need to get my front axel replaced, but that everything else was more or less ok. I go to pick up the car after work , 15 min before they close, pay and leave. After 15 min of driving I get out of my car and somebody points out that my head light is out. I open the hood and the light bulb is melting the back of the headlight assembly (ruined). Since they were closed I had to wait until the following day to return, when I did return I was pretty much told by the owner that it had nothing to do with them and was offered no remedy. I spent almost 600 dollars at their shop and they want me to believe that what happened to my light 10-15 min after leaving their shop was just a coincidence...stay away from this shop!

Spoke with pleasant guy (Pete) on the phone. Little pricey compared to others. Have heard good things about them in the past.
