Richmond County DMV Office

Usually when I am going to the DMV (Very rarely) I just want to get over with it, and hope that there will be no surprises. The surprise I got here was that I need to try 2 different people, to get 2 different answers. Yes, this is what happened to me here. One told me that there is nothing she can do to check what I am asking for, and the other one checked and helped me. If you don’t like the service, try a different person, you may get the help you need.
0 stars for the first person, 5 to the second. Average 2.5.

Tske too long and people dont know what they are doing ...Little allover the place

Extremely BAD experience! I arrived on 5/13/2015, got a line number and was sitting with my husband about 1h. At the window they told us that they have to verify ours documents with emigration office even though I have original and advised us to wait 3-4 business day for a phone call.
I was waiting 2 months and no phone call at all. On 7/30/2015 I went to the office and it appear that they verify only my documents but not for my husband. Looks like he have to wait another 2 months to get his DL
I was so angry I call the menage and instead of getting help or at list apology she start to shout at us that they have to deal with emigration office.
This was really terrible experience. Because of that my husband decided to go to Brooklyn and It was completely different story.He got his DL in the same day and no problem with the documents. Very nice people, friendly,helpful. For the next time I will definitely go to Brooklyn. Pleas do not support this office go to Brooklyn and you will be treated like a human not like a garbage,

Their bathroom are disgusting and filthy and worker are so rude and has no knowledge skills

Extremely BAD experience! I arrived on 10/22/2014, got a line number and was sitting about 30 min. Then went out to pick up a pen from the car. The security young women closed the door right behind me and never let me in! Even if showed her my line number, she didn't want even to listen to me, she LAUGHED IN MY FACE just keep replying "You have a nice day"!! She treat me as RUDE as I have never treated before! Rest of my day I was very depressed! If management ever read these reviews, please take an action. Find better person to communicate with people! We are people, not a garbage!
