Great take out. Not the best service eating in.

Today I went to eat lunch at the Rice Shop on Paterson Ave in East Rutherford. I ordered a bowl of won-ton soup, a shrimp noodle, and a main course of shrimp in oyster sauce. The food tasted fine and while I was leaving I was at the register and I could see behind the cashier through the opened curtain and into the small kitchen.What I saw repulsed me, a young man who was trying to remove a cardboard box
from the frozen chicken that was inside the box, put it on the floor, chicken side on the floor. And with his dirty black stained sneaker trying to squeeze it between the chicken and cardboard and the floor. As the chicken pieces on the floor were sliding back and forth over the floor I YELLED at him to stop that and the cashier now forgot any English she new and made like it wasn't happening as she tried to pull the curtain back over the doorway.These are filthy people and your food is being treated poorly at best. I will never eat here again and I would advise you not to eat here also. You cannot imagine what they do when no one sees. i reported them to the E.Rutherford health Dept. And the woman there said she would look into it. Who knows, the only way to close such slime holes is to refuse to eat there. Hope this helps in your decision!
