Rice High School

Alumni of Rice, it was the best. Clinton was in the neighborhood, I am sure he knew about Rice and it's track record of helping minorities excel. He could have saved Rice, Clinton you are a phony and a piece of sh*t.

I attended Brother Edmund Ignatius Rice Memorial High School in the 1960s. The experience was memorable, edifying, and inspirational. Brother Morkan (Principal), Brother Mahoney (Science), Mr. Flood (English), Mr. Gaglio (Music) come immediately to mind... like it was yesterday. Retired now from careers in higher education (RPI) and business (IBM), I consider my "Edmundian" experience a superior foundation for an enjoyable, purposeful, and profitable life. I've still got the yearbook, and the memories...and take them everywhere I go -- better than money!

My friends went here they always got into fights and cut school. That says a lot .

A good neighbor committed to the development of young minds

SOMETIMES PARENTS GET WRAPPED UP IN PAYING MONEY AND HIDING THEIR PROBLEM CHILDREN IN GOOD SCHOOL. RICE CONTINUES TO BE AN EXCELLENT SCHOOL. THERE MAY BE PROBLEMATIC STUDENTS THERE AS THERE ARE IN EVERY SCHOOL, HOWEVER, PARENTS HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR ILL-BEHAVED KIDS. RICE HAS BEEN PATIENT AND CONTINUES TO BELIEVE IN THE YOUNG MEN THEY ACCEPT THAT THEY WILL DEVELOP THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GOOD MEN AS THEY GROW.
I TRUST RICE, MY SON IS DOING VERY WELL AND MISBEHAVIOR IS A SYMPTON AT EVERY SCHOOL. AT LEAST THERE IS A STRONG ACADEMIC BASE FOR THOSE WHO ARE THERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.
