We were given not only the wrong stone but also with the wrong art. We were poorly mistreated. I got so angry that I went online myself to type this.
My younger step brother was a cop for 30+ years. He loved the force and was highly respected by other police officers. He even got 2 commendations. We all loved him so much. He was a perfect father, husband, and as my brother, I could count on anything with him.
When he died, all of us, including his wife and 2 teenage kids were devastated.
We chose Resurrection Monuments to do the stone. We found out later that Resurrection Monuments is some company with something like 15 different business names including Staten Island Monuments, Moravian Monuments, Artists Memorial Monuments, some pizza place and some construction business. I'm retired, and have been around long enough to know that a company with many names means they are up to no good. Especially 4+ names for the same business: making gravestones. If we saw they had this many company names first, we would have walked right out the door of these clown's offices.
They were SMOOTH TALKERS. Really smooth. We paid extra too. We found out later that we ended up paying over $1000 more than their competition. They were all too friendly until we gave them the check. Once that happened, then they acted like they didn't know us. We felt swindled.
In the end, these clowns totally screwed up the stone. After a 10 month wait, the artwork we wanted was not what we specified. We continually called Robert Flood and asked for the stone to be replaced for some money back. We got nothing. He avoided our calls as often as he could.
These guys are clearly more interested in taking your money than taking care of families. Take my advice; Just keep on driving when you see these clown's offices.
