Guatita is great, small place and good food .
Ceviches start at $15 a little over priced for the size and service.

Still great food and good service. But unfortunately caught contagion with other formerly good local restaurants, now prohibitively expensive (Mofongo, Nueva España, etc), in trying to emulate the numerous new bars-pretending-to-be-restaurants in attracting the crowds that overrun the neighborhood in search of alcohol and other entertainment, by jacking up the prices and the music ( in this case the two blasting televisions ) to astronomical levels while squashing the gastronomic experience by crowding the dining areas with sprawling bars.

Great place to eat and their prices are right and their served a lot of food too, I have lived in new york city for over 20 years and never found a place to eat my favorite dishes from my country, but this restaurant have everything you can think of caldo de salchicha, carne con menestra, los bollos, humitas, bolones mixto and my favorite hallacas de pollo I recommend this place to all guayacos in new york.

Came on a Saturday night and got seated right away. Freddy was our waiter and he was like a sweet grandpa. He made funny jokes and brought us our food and drinks quickly. The $5 all-day margaritas were good but they are on the smaller size
