the management office of residential does not give a dame for anything to improve your apartment nor your building, the people here live 15 to a apartment, there are undesireables here, as well as this residential managements attutude never to call back,,you have to call 311 over months to get anything done here, even then you have to wait and take off days to do this..all they care about is money for the rent or the maintance of the co-op..there are bed bugs every where and they do not care, the super of the building trys but the people get it dirty over and over again..their other building of 1730 has a super from hell...his daughter and him own 2-3 apartments there, if u ask him to do for u for first thing is he tells u money and how much, otherwise he tells you he cannot do it,,,but if u look at his apartment and his daughters rented apartments he did all the work there and more,,all with the co-op money, but of course u are not supposed to know this...his daughter lives with him as well as the son...but the co-op pays for this as well,and she keeps the profits from her renters...and the co-op pays for using her fathers apartment...residential management is aware of thus but does not care, lets this super do what ever he pleases....the other building is kept clean except when the tenants and their children do not care nd let their children do as they please, no fault of the super but the parents of these children.....as far as residentil management is concerned, u pay u call, they do nothing ,,,do not call back nor fix, onky when u call 311 or the other agencies will they do anything for this building on east 14th sreet....look around and see how this building looks from the other buildings near by...you will see the difference, do nt rent, do not buy, shame on u if u do

YOU CALL SEVERAL TIMES with complaints and you get nothing, then u finally call 311 and after several months you get a reply....the super in this building knew about the bed bugs before anyone did ,,all he said so what, i do not care,,this is the super of 1730,,,he has his daughter and son living there and they own apartments 4k 1b and 1a....this is not allowed, but yet they do so..the super does as he wishes for his daughter is on the board of the co-op...you the buyer have no rights, u have to give the super money to do anything here, no money no nothing for u..here they own 3 apartments here, the management and them are i n connection with each other,,if u deside to buy a apartment here, do not, the building is not managed, not clean nor will it ever be,,,,be bugs, filth, a management that never gets back, all u have to do is pay and pay and pay and u get nothing for this,,u live with bedbugs, filth and a super from hell and back. they advertise luxury apartments, but they left out luxury apartments from bedbugs and filth...do not rent nor buy from these money hungry thieves of a management or a super

I first wrote this review because I was unable to communicate with my management despite multiple attempts. Now I have bedbugs in my apartment. I left multiple messages with my building super, I called and left messages with the managements office. My super asked me 3 times if was sure they were bedbugs. My neighbors have them as well and they have spread into other apartments. The management still has never contacted me. I finally filed a complaint with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development through 311, and then sent a certified letter to the management with a return receipt request. Only then did I get a response. An exterminator called me, not the management. For some reason the management refuses to have any direct communication with me. The exterminators can't come out for another week and I have to be out of town all week next week. This whole ordeal is approaching a month and I still have bed bugs. I called my management again today to told them i needed to have the exterminators come before Friday. Still NO RESPONSE. They are the absolute worst in my opinion. I used to believe it was better to live in a nice apartment with bad management than to live in a bad apartment with good management but they really put that theory to the test. If anyone is thinking of moving into one of there buildings i would advise them to avoid it by any means necessary.
Previous Review: They manage the building I live in and they seem not to exist. I have been trying to contact them for three days and have been unable to speak to anyone at any extension that I call and have heard nothing back after several messages. If I had kids I would leave the building on the grounds that management would be too unreliable if something were to happen. I have no faith that they would be helpful if I really had a problem.

They manage my current building and i must say i have no idea what they do. I call and call and no one answers. The building i live in is horrible and the only way to get things done is to slip a few bucks to the super so he can actually do his job.
Stay away from any building they manage. Specially in Jackson Heights

No Heat, no maintenance, building is not well maintained, management is unresponsive to complaints. constant calls to 311 have yeilded almost no results.
