Never officially trained with any of these guys... yet, but I know a handful, and they are stand up guys through and through, any thing that's affiliated with Romulo Bittencourt or Renzo Gracie BJJ is top notch and should be respected as such. Want the best, you will get the best.

Everyone here is very friendly, and you get a free class to start. I didn't know what to expect going in, as I took karate when I was younger and I saw the differences between real training and belt factories. This is real training, hard training, and it will make you feel like you are really accomplishing something. A lot of places make you buy stuff to get started, they asked only that I get a patch that said Team Bittencourt, so I could represent them at tournaments some day.
There is a kids class that I sometimes arrive early enough to see, and the guys who run it are really something when it comes to dealing with discipline and motivation. I would recommend training here at any age and regardless of gender. Members routinely go to tournaments, and the instructors always recommend that you try, so that you can get a sense for genuine accomplishment. While I've not yet competed, I always congratulate everyone who goes, as they almost always come back with gold or silver.
No one from another school has ever come in and spoke poorly of the training to me. In fact, I've heard nothing but compliments! I can offer nothing but compliments in turn. This is simply a great place to learn jiu-jitsu (or judo on Monday nights). Unlimited monthly classes make the money well worth it, and you won't find a better way to train your body (even if you have no interest in jiu-jitsu).

Instructor Romulo Bittencourt is a 4 stripe Renzo Gracie Black belt, with many judo and BJJ titles under his belt. He is also a former US Marine and judge for MMA fights in NJ.
His lineage is directly from Renzo Gracie as he is Renzo's cousin. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for really good tough training.
