Last year we used them to clean our gutters. They did a decent job. A few weeks ago I come home in the middle of the day to see a bunch of guys setting up to do something on my house. I asked whats going on? They said their boss sent them there.
I asked them to stop what they were doing. I called my wife she said she didn't call for anyone, so I asked them to pack it up and leave.
Today I got an invoice in the mail for $150 that said this is the second notice and I will be sent to collections if I don't pay. It was the first letter we received.
I called the number and I explained that we didn't order any service, mid sentence the guy on the phone cut me off and told me that he left us a message that he was coming and we should have called him to cancel if I don't want him to come.
Really, really, REALLY, are you kidding me! It reminds me of those CD scams from back in the day where you order one and then they keep sending CDs every month until you call to cancel but there is no one there to answer the phone when you call.
The I proceeded to tell him that I caught them as they were setting up and no work was ever done. Then he said, well, if that's the case then fine I'll delete the bill.
I was really lucky I had to pick something up that day and stopped by the house early.
