STAY AWAY !!! They will rip you off ! They lie in your eyes like lunatics. If somehow you end up with this guys, my best advice is, make pictures of your parts and look at their hands as long as you can. Or better, take your car away as is ASAP before they will put you in a trap and make you pay them all you have. Be aware of "lets take it step by step" and giving them your DOB, or last 4 digits of your SS... Tell them to show you replaced parts. I am in the process of collecting proofs to forward this case to court. Be aware their nice "talk". They are "the salesmen". They are really nice, patient and pleasant guys in talk, but they do what they do. The guy named Steve very often doesnt know what is broken but talks nice to make you belive that your car is in good hands, but if you want to take your car away, your savings are in danger. It happend to me that they even intetionally damaged my parts telling me later, that it was already broken... and I need to replace this. Oh I know what I am talking about, I know my car very well, I replaced that parts later and I found out what they did... and spray paint on transmission? even without pulling it down ? Thats primitive, low play! Do you really think people are that stupid ??? Shame on you ! You know what I am talking about, mr salesman, if you read this... You forgot about such thing like numbers... How can you sleep or be with yourself, look in the mirror if you can, do you know who you are ?

I broke down on the way to NYC (my morning commute). Needless to say, I was crazed and worried about what to do. I called my local repair shop and they referred by to Reliable Transmissions. I called over there and a pleasant gentleman helped arrange for a tow truck immediately. My car was brought in and assessed by the crew. It needed a new transmission, as I thought it would. I couldnt believe it but they were able to do give me back the car that day. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and obviously the quick turnaround.

It was Friday afternoon at 4:30. I was stuck in Washington Heights and didn't know what to do. I called my mechanic who said to call Reliable. Even though they were closing, or supposed to be closing at 5, they sent their truck to get me. On Monday they told me that my axle was broken and that's why my car didn't move. They fixed the axle and gave me a very reasonable bill. I didn't need a transmission! I was thrilled and glad that my mechanic said to call Reliable

The worst shop ever .. the nice smooth talking saleman, susan gave me a low price over the phone. then added 500.00 to the price when my truck was there. then never talked to me again once job was sold, she dropped me like a hot potato. she just let the office help deal with me..i had the truck towed back 2 more times to completely rebuild the transmission each time under warranty. All in 1 month.Thats right 3 rebuilds in 1 month (WTF) .When i picked it up the final time the truck was left outside on the street in queens with both windows down, but the doors were locked.finally after 3 rebuild i brought it to another shop closer to home and now the trans is perfect. STAY AWAY from this trans shop at all costs!!!!!
Look at the reveiws three appear to be from the same person "angelinabella, angelina and ciaobella" what a coincidence. stay way!!!!!! they look like they write their own reviews too.
