Dr. Gregory Montalbano performed a knee replacement on me that went absolutely fantastic. This is not an easy operation to heal from but Dr Montalbano has performed thousands. He is meticulous in his work and his office is 1st rate. I could not be happier.

Be careful with this place! My son went to see an in-network doctor at Regional Orthopedic. The doctor tells me to bring him to the basement for MRI and upstairs for physical therapy. The building is small with only two floors. The design is seamless and it feels like one cohesive office. I later find out the MRI and physical therapy visits were all billed out-of-network!! You would think these people would have the decency and professionalism to let me know beforehand!! I'm now responsible for paying almost $5,000 out of pocket which I'm currently appealing with my insurance company. I called Regional Orthopedic about this and they said that it's my fault and there's nothing they can do. They had no obligation to disclose. This is so deceptive!! I would be very careful with this place and have them put a note in your file to let you know if any services are out-of-network....or just go elsewhere and avoid the headaches.

It was my first time receiving services at Regional Orthopedics in Staten Island and I can't stop sharing with all my friends how impressed by my overall experience. Dr. Savarino is such a sweetheart, he had my attention from his warm greeting until my visit was over. The young ladies at the office were pleasant and knowledgeable of their roles, I felt very comfortable. I'm scheduled to return for follow up and I'll be sure to refer others!
