As good as it gets really does describe Regina's Maids.
Don't judge me, ;) Before the cleaning service came, we had A LOT of dust. And pet hair. Under the bed, under the couches, around the radiators, under and on the tv stands. I was overwhelmed with it all and didn't want to have friends over. Aside from regular cleaning, dusting just isn't my thing. And, it certainly isn't my boyfriends.
My neighbors use Regina's maids and their house always looks amazing. Like, AMAZING out of a magazine. Especially after a cleaning. I asked her about her experience with Regina's Maids and aside from the rave reviews she told me they were bonded and insured so I would have a greater piece of mind than hiring someone who didn't work for a company.
After lots of stress as a result of a messy house that I didn't want to spend hours cleaning by myself, I finally said, it is worth spending the money to get a cleaning service. So I called and scheduled an appointment. I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I did.
I no longer have the stress of a dirty apartment. My apartment looks amazing. The level of clean from 1-10 that the service gets it is a 10. Floors are Shining. SHINING. My apartment looks fantastic. And it smells great. They took care of the dust, organized our random papers into piles but didn't move things to random places that I didn't know where they were (it still felt like our house when we came home, it just looked a lot better), they took care of the pet hair Everywhere, changed my sheets after leaving them new ones on the foot of the bed, vacuumed my couch!!!!, and under it!, organized all of our dog toys into one area, the dust was GONE, I could keep going on and on. The amount of cleaning these people do is incredible. You don't realize how much you aren't cleaning until a real professional does it for you.
Now I don't have to stress about deep cleaning because it is now done for me once every two weeks. I do my usual upkeep and things don't get crazy because Regina's Maids pick up the slack. I also don't have to complain that I'm the only one cleaning because I'm not. I have back-up! And it is worth the rather low bi-weekly cost. (If I had the money I would get them every week... but bi-weekly keeps me from going nuts and seems sufficient.)
After the first cleaning that was hourly, and a bit pricey (remember the amount of dust I said we had?, that takes time to clean up!), we have locked in a flat rate for a bi-weekly cleaning. The flat rate is better than anything I could find on livingsocial and I don't have to worry about my price going up. And it fits into my budget, which is not huge. So the one time hourly fee was worth it.
Oh, and the customer service is incredible. Joe and Melanie, who talk to you on the phone and set everything up, are fantastic. They are friendly, answer all of your questions, and are great about helping out with specific requests. From arranging how to get them a key, making notes on my account about specific cleaning requests, asking that they call me when they are coming and leaving so I can take my dog who is Crazy out of the house, calling me to check how everything went and being amenable to changing the time they come as I need, these guys are pros.
I feel such a large amount of stress has been lifted off my shoulders and I couldn't be happier.
If you're waiting to get a cleaning service, stop. Call Regina's Maids. You will be so relieved once you do.
