Reel

The Reel is an excellent place to go for a nice lunch or dinner. I have been coming here for many years now, even back in the day, when it was called The Fishery. Still to date, the food and service never disappoints. I also married at the gazebo of the Reel parking lot and had a mini post lunch at the establishment. Anna Maria made sure everything came out as my partner and I wanted. Despite of the rain, and last minute changes to have the post lunch inside the establishment instead of outdoors (as it was planned originally), everything went smoothly and service exceeded my expectations. The Reel will definitely have me as a loyal customer as long as my tastebuds function and my desire for a great place to eat and relax exists. I will forever be thankful to Anna Maria and the rest of the great staff, for making our special day, a memorable one.

First time visit. Had heard good things.. Checked out the website this afternoon and had a good idea as to what we were going to order.. Also had heard about the great ambiance.. right on the water.. Had family visiting and decided this was the place..
Upon arrival we were asked if we had reservations.. Did not see anywhere on the website that reservations were need or suggested. There were a few empty tables visible but were only offered the "cove" A small inside room with no windows, blue walls with hand painted Sharks on the walls.. Not the ambiance we were expecting.
The food was VERY good. Some of the best I've had in a while.. Manhattan Clam Chowder-Excellent.. Baked Clams - Excellent Mussels - Excellent, Honey BBQ Wings - Excellent.... Shrimp Scampi - Excellent.. My wife is not a fish person,.. She had a Hamburger which she said was very good.. Great Taste..
with drinks and tip -- $217 for 5.. sitting in the back room..
Will have to go back and make a reservation this time. I just feel if that was the suggestion why isn't it on the website??
