Operating hours state that they're open until 10 pm, so disappointed to know that they closed their kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing time; which is nowhere to be found on their information site. Sadly, management did not even have the courtesy of offering any kind of rectification or "consuelo de bobo" knowing for a fact that I drove hours to get to Red Ribbon with full expectation of full service as implied by their website!!! Go to other American establishments and you will receive a genuine apology, perhaps a gift for the hassle, and not the cliché "management decision" that I bet they have recited a million times . In Red Ribbon's case, they certainly can do better than offer false advertisement and elevate their services to international standards. On the brighter side, the manager offered me a calling card so I could call ahead to make pre-orders. Right, so what about the rest of those like me that rely on their website advertisement?! Ah yes, disappointed which could have been prevented in the first place utilizing true advertisement!

I have only gotten the mango cake but that cake is so divine that even if everything else that they sold was bad, it would still be worth the trip to get it. The cake is so light and airy and the frosting, with just enough sweetness from the mango, is just so delicious.

Ah, the Mango Cake.
You see, I am SCARED to buy this cake for myself. I know I can finish this, all by myself.
The other thing you should get here is the Brazo De Mercedes. It's merangue with custard in the middle - but it's like eating clouds of fluffy goodness.

The best cake to get is the mango cake. It's light like sponge cake and the frosting has bits of mango in it. Very refreshing. If you are a newbie to filipino cakes, try the cake sampler. It is a whole cake of their most popular flavors from ube and black forrest to mocha crunch and pandan. Brazos de mercedes is another popular cake. Occasionally I buy the empanadas and mamons. They make for good snacks and breakfast. Expect a long line during the holidays.
