Stumptown coffee, Underwest donuts and Mille Feuille croissants, cozy with bright window seats, tables and counter space. Top-notch baristas. No bathroom.

Lovely place, great for reading or working. Coffee is good but coldish. Also service is kind but a little bit slow.

Indie shop serving Stumptown coffee in the village. Staff is friendly and makes a great almond milk latte. Pastry selection isn't large but comes from a local bakery and tastes great. Wifi has been consistently good. Only slight downside is max 14 seats, often less. Bonus, there's a Magmar nearby.

Great place, great coffee and great atmosphere.
Fairly small coffeeshop vs. what's around. More intimate with a sense of community. Coffee is great and there's a nice selection.
Staff is super friendly.
The only downside is that there's no bathroom for customers which means that if you have the urge you'd need to probably go to the supermarket or another place around.

A smaller spot in West Village, my beau and I stumbled upon after getting off at the wrong stop on the subway. Walked in to this modest 10 seater coffee shop- the barista was super friendly and helpful with options which were pretty limited. The coffee was mediocre, and the croissants were good but not great. If you want to go to a coffee shop with actual seating, go someplace else! Otherwise if you have time and want to relax in west village this is the place to be!
