My dig had a pretty obvious ear infection and the vet wanted to upsell me on a thyroid evaluation, claiming the thyroid is connected to this somehow. She did the same thing last visit and sold me on a full on health check and my dog is totally healthy! I'm all for preventative medicine but they try to oversell me right out of the gate and I walk out with a huge bill.

The team at Reade Street Animal Hospital is truly fantastic. Dr Xanthos has been helping my two rescue pups since I adopted them a few years ago. She has a ton of empathy and is very generous with her time. The staff are wonderful; they know my dogs by name and are always so happy to see them. I highly recommend them!!

I've visited this animal hospital a couple of times now and it was always a great experience. Dr. Amanda Oden is my fav doc thus far. She is super sweet and caring.

Dr. Xanthos and the entire staff at Reade Street Animal Hospital continue to offer quality, compassionate and personalized service. I have been using Reade Street for 3 years and although I moved to Queens, I continue to return to Tribeca for my appointments. (My English Bulldog/Beagle Winston would not have it any other way!)
