Raymond's

I was very excited to come into Raymond's however the disappointment began as soon as my boyfriend and I walked in! We were not under dressed or over dressed however we were looked over by the hostess and as we asked to sit in one of the front booths we were denied!
She proceeded to lead us to the back of the restaurant and cramp us into one of their small tables! It must be said that they were not at all busy however that was the excuse the hostess used ! The food and service were decent but sadly do to the discuss in the hostess face she ruined our first and last experience at Raymond's!

Favorite brunch place in Montclair. The menu doesn't change much, but they do what they do very well!

11/22/2015 The food is great as always been coming here for a whileI don't know how a cook could f*** up eggs over easy I had to return them 3 times. And the manager couldn't say anything. My family sat down together and my wife order food for my girls and placed the order while I was parking. How is it possible that once I got in sat down placed my order that our food came out together. I have small children that's why I dropped off my wife so she can find a seat and place the order for my girls and we still got the order at the same time. SMH!! The waitress never even return I say here had to ask for more coffee napkins and they still tried to charge me for the eggs they tried to make me pay for them!!

Get the french toast, hot chocolate, and a side of homefries. Your morning will be off to the right start ; )

Wasn't really impressed. I went on a Sunday early afternoon. It was jammed pack but I sat at the counter so I didn't have to wait. I order pancakes with a side of hash browns and a cup of coffee. The pancakes were OK nothing special. The syrup was way too sweet and the hash browns were under cooked and cold. The only thing I enjoyed was the cup of coffee and the service. Probably won't return.
