Reviews to Randalls Island Golf & Entertainment Center
Considering that this facility is less than 4 miles from midtown Manhattan
it's a truly adequate place to practice and hone your swing. Artificial turf
green diminishes putting practice to a rock strewn exercise in obstacle
course management but does provide for a decent chipping area off of
real grass.
Modest pricing is also a big plus.

The place looks rundown nothing like the pictures they are showing here. The pin pong table is falling apart with no legs. The putting green is all warped and full of pebbles and sand. The sand bunker is hard a cement. There is big chunks of grass missing on the rage nothing but rocks dirt and mud. The yardage markets need to be bigger and place in a more practical way and need more of then. All of that being said I mus say this still is the best deal and best driving range nearby for those of us that live in Manhattan.

The course is nice, but the employees have no control over the area specifically outsiders coming on to the course. I had the misfortune of going to the center on a day that an event was occurring simultaneously at Ichan Stadium next door. People were walking through the course taking pictures, disrupting play. People with dogs just letting them run freely throughout the area. We had several unattended children just playing all over the course - one grabbed my child's ball while she was in the midst of putting which was the last straw for me. We brought all of this to the staff's attention. They stated the problems would be addressed, but no one came out to the course, and nothing was ever done. Further, I was assured that I would hear from the management about my complaints although 8 months later and after a couple of telephone calls, I have yet to receive a response. Since events are common throughout the summer months at the stadium, I'm not sure when there would be a reasonably safe time to try to use this venue again.

Wow,
Gave it a try last saturday as the weather was great and according to there website it was "come on over and don't let the snow bother you, we are open".
Surprised to get there and being told sorry we ran out of balls at 11.30 AM! And i was not the only one, within a timespan of 15 minutes @ least 10 other people got turned away.
This place is been mis managed. it doesn't take a fortune teller that the first 45 degree day in feb might be busy. Besides that i did not see any improvements on the facilities as i had a quick stroll around. Still the same old mats cracked concrete and no yardage markers. This place needs to be redone, and i think management needs to rethink things. Who am i to judge?
A well paying customer.
