Coming here for soccer matches under the picturesque Triboro Bridge has afforded me the opportunity to really see another dimension of NYC. The brisk currents that form small waves against the shores of this small island located in the
East River are beautiful to watch. Along with the soccer fields Randalls Island is home to a Stadium and track, free horseback riding, baseball fields. It is also home to a Fire Station and Police academy. Entrance points to the island are at the 96th St footbridge along the FDR Drive, 125th st, Bronx Kill, and Long Island City in Queens.
