Ramada Plaza Newark Liberty International Airport

Very bad experience and unprofessional staff when I checked in at 3 am on feb 14.

I had prepaid and reserved for a king room and rechecked while taking the key its a king room but when I see I was given a room
With two twin beds. When I checked back, sorry take it or no other option

Heat didn't work in a freeIng temp.

And yes there must have been bud bugs, so much itching and bug feeling during the stay

The Ramada Hotel is a lovely place! Even though I didn't stay overnight, I could tell that they had amazing staff, and the building was spotless and polished. Everything was very fancy. In addition, the restaurant there serves incredible dishes like bacon pancakes and a yummy french toast! I highly recommend staying there.

The staff was very accommodating. The front desk was able to get everything extra I needed and the bar downstairs had really good drinks (left a good tip with my first drink so maybe they treated me well because of that.

Everyone was nice, the rooms were very clean and modern. The location and price were great and I enjoyed my view. The shuttle service is a bit slow though so best to get out there early if you're going to the airport.

Stayed here for one night when United Airlines asked for volunteers to switch their flight for the next day.

Customer service during check-in was OKAY. The first card I received didn't work due to magnetic issues. Second card worked fine.

They have a fitness center, a bar/lounge in the front lobby and a 24 hours convenient cafe for you to buy snacks/etc. for late night munchies or drinks.

My room was decent but the shower could have been a bit more updated/clean. The shower drain rusted a bit and didn't make me feel clean.

The bed was humungous and very comfortable. I slept like a baby.

Lodging provided by airlines cannot be redeemed for hotel points, FYI!
