This store is an one reason Radio Shack is going out of business. Treating the in store customers rudely, unprofessionally and with complete disrespect.
Terrible staff starting with the store manager - Nick Hopwood - and including the Sprint staff.
I was overcharged for an item. When I showed the associate the price - clearly marked on the rack - he explained that that price was wrong therefore I was charged the correct price, which was the price in the computer. So now I am in a philosophical discussion with cashier as to what defines the "correct price" of an item in a store - ?????
I've never experienced this. As ANY store in the USA will refund any pricing error.
Anyway, he refused to refund the money. So I asked to speak to the manager. He wasn't in & would be in the next day. I asked the associate for both his name & the managers name. He refused to give them to me. So I told him that I wasn't leaving until I got everyone's name. At that point the Sprint associate told me to leave the store. I then asked for his name. He refused. So I picked up his business card from the rack on his desk and he pulled it out of my hand. I was annoyed and demanded every one name. They called the police and had me removed.
I went back the next day to speak with Nick Hopwood, the store manager. As I tried the explain the crazy situation that occurred all because the cashier refused to refund the price error, he repeatedly interupted me and argued with me. He was rude, condescending and insulting.
ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
I ultimately called RS corporate - which, due to their bankruptcy, is also nightmare becaue you cannot get a human on the phone or get someone to call you back without an immense effort - and was ultimately told that their corporate policy is to refund any overcharge. So Nick Hopwood was wrong (and rude) as well as his entire staff.
A bunch of complete morons.
