Rachel's Waterside Grill

I took my mom there during the summer, big mistake the place was crowded so I figured the food must 'be good. I'm a big guy, not fat I felt so uncomfortable. The food under rated. I could have made a better meal in my backyard. Will never go there again. The Burger King in Westbury gives better service.

Food and environment were both average. What was worse was the salad that came with my meal had a small bug in it. When I called it out to the waiter, I was offered an apology and a soup in it's place. I did not take the soup and nothing was ever brought up again. We were charged for ever item we ordered and the manager never acknowledged what happened. Very disappointed in the lack of service.

My family and I have been here a few times. Prices are fair and portion sizes are decent. Its a beautiful location so it attracts a lot of business.

Servers are friendly, Ours was Ashley and she could not make us stop laughing and I think that really enhanced the experience.

Our kids seems to like it.

Overall good place!

I took my father for lunch. The server(Lucy) was on top of things yet not hoverin g on top of the patrons. The appetizer's were spot on. I had the lobster bisque(must get the bowl) and Pop had mussels in white wine & garlic sauce. For lunch dear old Dad had himself a generous serving of lobster sliders while I supped on the blackened red snapper. The snapper was prepared to perfection on a bed of white rice & a cream sauce. Pop's "lazy lob" was complimented with Rachel's homemade "sea chips"....we ate and couldn't get enough....to take home...lol. All said and done the price was quite reasonable, service was impeccable.The acoustics were just a bit amplified. This is due to the renovation. That was the only issue...& not much of one at that. I would give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5. Thank you to all of the staff at Rachel's Waterside Grill. PCM. (we ate on 7/3/2013.)

I would recommend making a reservation. I took my mom here for her birthday Sunday brunch. The restaurant got very crowded and had a wait list. I made reservations and was seated immediately. The blood orange margaritas are so good!! The food was delicious..
