Place outside looks the same, inside looks empty. Just not as much stock as the movie. The Clerk just smiled but wouldn't engage at all in conversation. Movie rental store is empty. Didn't realize the store sits 12' from the street. Had a worn out sign inside about Clerks. A bit ghetto, had a few skinny looking Jays wearing wife beaters, buying blunts in front of me. Lol

This place is a Godsend. It helps that I live across the street to this 24 hour market that has everything imaginable. If you doubt they have it ask the guys behind the counter! Best sandwiches in NJ! And everyone who I introduce this place thinks so too.

Me and a girlfriend went searching for this place in Jan of 96' We LOVED the movie, and since it was kinda on the way back from something, we figured why not. Drove down RT 36, and gave up, hit the jughandle to turn around, and at the red light we saw it...QUICK STOP ! We went in, and of course got a SNACK CAKE. The door even had the grinding sound back then just like in the movie. A must visit if you like the movie and Kevin Smith !
