Great place to go relax by the water, not too crowded and nice view of midtown/Roosevelt Island. Nice place for a walk.

I only know this lovely park from 1946 to 1950. At that time it was peaceful and like being in a bit of nature in the big city. I especially loved lying on my back on the grass and watching the clouds.
