Queens Zoo

Easy going and not packed like most zoos in nyc. They have a lot of animals to look at too.

This Zoo is like a smaller cross between the Bronx Zoo and the Manhattan Zoo. If you are in the area and like Zoos check it out. They have a very large petting zoo for kids!

An excellent place to see some incredible wildlife! The zoo is well kept and the animals are given plenty of space! A great place for learning!

Great for toddlers, and the parking lot was free on a first come first serve basis. Our kids loved the petting zoo. It's an easy facility for parents accompanying 3 or so children

I have no idea Queens has a zoo until the day we Googled it! It is small and there aren't a lot of animals actually. Well, to be fair, there are a good amount of animals but they were hiding when we were there. So, we did not see a good number of them. Nonetheless, it is fun to walk around with children and point out the animals in the zoo. We did see see lion, birds, puma, goats and others. One cool thing about this zoo is they have a petting area! Kids can feed the goats themselves and they surely love that!

If you don't want to trek out to Bronx or pay a hefty price for Central Park Zoo, this is a good alternative.
