Queens Library at Cambria Heights

Great programs for kids. Kid friendly, courteous and helpful. Need effective on-site security, especially during school hours. Access to cultural books limited

The employees are helpless. When asking for help they seem to be annoyed and/or have an attitude.

I love the kids side but but their kids that curse a lot they run around! The Teen Center has no supervision only teens are allowed down there I don't like that. But it's. Better then the one on Hollis.

I love the teen Center. All the staff members generally care about how my day went. They help me with my life problems, homework, projects,dating. They are approachable, Caring, and funny. They have 8 desktop computers, 13 laptops, free wifi & printing.

i only give this library A star at because they have more computers now and that work good and I dont have to wait long to get one as i have before. I remember and had a understanding the libraries are supposed to be a quiet place where children can do homework read books to research online or surf the net for recreation purposes. The cambria Heights location is a ABSOLUTE zoo. I heard that many schools have cut out funding after school programs but the library is NOT supposed to sound like Im at the park with kids all over knocking over chairs running as they would at a playground. But I guess its not an issue to the employees there. But as a library goer im DISGUSTED & will say something to one of the workers if i have to get there and leave because theres no adult to tame these out of control noisy children
