I don't think you can have a greater brunch experience than the one provided at Queen's Comfort. Even before you step foot inside the restaurant, you'll notice something special about this place. Right by the door they have a comic book stand, a Street Fighter II Champion Edition arcade machine, and a hypeman. Yes, like a nightclub. The restaurant is insanely popular and relatively small, meaning lines outside can get crazy. The hypeman keeps those waiting outside informed on the situation inside and entertained.
Inside, the restaurant is packed with action figures, comic books, slightly creepy family pictures, and a big screen that plays classic films (the first time I went it was Princess Mononoke!) The servers treat you like they're a part of your party, by sitting with you at your table while you discuss what you want to order, talking to you very casually and in a non-scripted way - none of that "hi, my name is Luis and I'll be your waiter today."
The food at this place is off the hook and the menu changes often, except for some of their staples. The disco tots, their donuts of the day, and their large variations on eggs benedict are some of my favorites. I've yet to try any of their dessert, because I end up ordering way too many entrees.
This is the optimal brunch experience in Queens, possibly in NYC, and you'd be a fool to pass this up.
Oh, and there's a brunch DJ! A brunch DJ!

Food is tasty for sure with a bit of a more upscale palate for country food. But the staff is just so snooty and self righteous... kinda makes you forget the food even tasted great.

The atmosphere is so much fun! Their different kinds of benedicts are fantastic brunch food. I absolutely love it here!

I travel to Astoria a lot for work and always looking for good eats while I'm here. This place was fantastic! Small place with a very casual atmosphere. The staff was friendly, even helped with suggestions when I was stuck between 2 or 3 different dishes.
I ended up getting the Coq Au Vin Mac n Cheese. Great portion size for the price! I'll definitely be making another stop here when I can!

queens comfort is a different dining experience. soon as to walk in the door you know you are somewhere different. once you get past all the action figures and weird stuff on the walls you warm up to the place. it's cash only and BYOB. i took my daughter so there was no bottles for me :(
the food was awesome! we had the stuff mac and cheese, the 3 cheese fried ravioli and the pulled pork poe boy. dismantled all 3 of these dishes and have pictures to prove it. the group next to us was a family of about 6 or 7 and they all had a bottle each of beer or wine or 4loco. the group to the other side of us was friendly and asked what we were having and they had a few bottles of wine.
this was for the dinner session. i have to go back for breakfast on the weekend when they have special donuts that are brought in that look crazy good. i recommend this place for breakfast, brunch-lunch and dinner. i will be back!
