I went about 8 months ago to get a simple blowout and flat iron. I went cuz someone recommended it. Not only did they use so much heat to close to my scalp, it actually Burned My Hair!! I lost about 6 inches! It went from going past my bra strap to being just above my shoulder. I'm still devastated. If I can save someone from having the same thing happen to them I will. Stay away if you trying to straighten your hair.

OMG this place is filthy! You can actually see dust that is so thick you would think it was a haunted house. EVERYwhere there was dirt and dust! I thought I would catch something from the brushes. The barber they have there puts BOTH his feet up. The owner was there and I saw a customer complain repeatedly about her hair color coming out wrong. I can't get over how filthy the place is, OMG!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I live Avenel and I usually go to Perth Amboy to get my hair done, this time around I wanted to save some time so I went to this place. Huge mistake, I'm lucky I still got hair on my head, all I wanted was a simple blow dry, I kept getting my scalp burned every other minute. If it wasn't because I was going out that night, I would have walked out. There were other people waiting to get their hair done, but the lady who owns the salon was just sitting there chatting away, waiting for the girl who was blow drying my hair to finish and work on theirs as well. I'm so irritated I'm actually writing a review about this place!
