Puppy Love

This place is horrible! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PUP THERE TO BE GROOMED! I took my male yorkie puppy there for his first grooming and the groomer was nasty and uncaring. I told her he was scared and would need some special care since he's only 4lbs. and its his first time. He was injured and traumatized when I got him back. He was limping and she nicked his scrotum (sorry guys) and both of his legs with the electric razor. After a visit to the vet because the poor thing couldn't sit down and $165.00 for antibiotics and ointments plus the cost of the grooming later. He looks like garbage because she didn't even groom his head. So she shaved his whole body (when I told her not to) and left his head and ears untouched. He looks ridiculous and I cant fix it because we cant get near him anymore and I don't blame him either.

Got the Groupon deal so just gave it a try...Jennifer was the groomer and just spoke with her over the phone how we wanted the grooming done. The grooming was done within two hours. He was nicely trimmed as we wanted. No issues at all. We will definitely come back.

I brought my Maltese in yesterday for a grooming with a voucher I got on living social. Her appointment was at 11 and she was done before 1, that is definitely the quickest I have ever gotten my dog back from a grooming place, usually it takes 3+ hours. The groomer, Jennifer cut her exactly the way I wanted and although there were about 15 barking puppies up front, my dog was unusually calm when I picked her up. I would definitely recommend this place and will likely be back when it is time for her next grooming.

I was in the Perfect Puppy of Greenvale last week looking for a puppy. When I asked who voted the "Voted Long Island's Best Kennel and Puppy Store which is on their web site, one of the girls working their laughed and said that it wasn't true, but that the owner uses that as an advertising gimmick.

The Perfect Puppy should stop lying to customers and stop advertising falsehoods.
