This place was absolute trash! I have never been disrespected so badly in a restaurant. My girlfriend is Dominican and lives in the Iron Bound so she wanted a change from the standard dishes they serve here so we checked out the reviews of Punta Cana and decide to check it out the food wasn’t anything special need just a little bit more salt and maybe we got there late in the day cause the meat was dry but that’s not my reason for righting this review. The place has "absolutely no class my people embarrass me" these are not my words this come straight out of the mouth of a Dominican women, now I understand that if you have a beautiful women as a girlfriend and you like to go out patience is a virtue you should have
From the moment we walked in and my girlfriend began to tell the girl behind the food booth what she ordered it must have sounded like a dinner bell for the young 22 year old cook in the back cause he just burst through the kitchen door and gave this creepy stare right into my girlfriends eyes like he was trying to suede her with his gaze right in front of me WTF, I should have took the food to go after that but patience remember, we sat down and was served by one of the waitress my girlfriend was so uncomfortable we just ignore what happen I guess. Then we hear the cook burst through the door yelling to the top of his lungs with the deep "Tigre voice" Jibber Jabber he decides to act like his cleaning tables next to us as I caught him trying to stare into my girls eyes over and over and over again right in front of me while his doing the best " Monadas" to get her attention this goes on for 13 minutes my girl is so embarrassed she just keeps her head down and tries to finish her portion as quick as she can
I’m thing to myself his guy is supposed to be cooking why is he out hear the waitress surely have some authority over him his craving for attention was so obvious I am pretty hot at his point then he dose something real stupid he decides to walk toward our table I smack my knuckles on the table in disapprovement before he takes another step he gets the point he immediately dose an about face this guy didn’t quit he seen how stressed out we were and he try to approach the table to try and talk to my girl.
We finish we wait for the check the cook runs outs side to help download a order of food, I cant wait to get out of here i tell my girlfriend she’s looking out the window because this is how her chairs faced she has this look of distress in her eyes I know exactly what is happening I ask her "this scum bag is outside looking through the store front window at you isn’t he?" I turn around he disappears right there I said the if hes still outside when we walk out I was going to break his face this was to much it looks like this kids never been humbled. Thank god for everyone’s sake as we walk out he walks back in the trees to walk past me as he dose his staring at my girl my right hand hooks around his left arm I spin him around like a girl and get in his face and tell him "in Spanish my girlfriend doesn’t like cooks so go back into the kitchen" he tries to laugh it off and doesn’t say anything he just walks into the kitchen the 2 waitress are really quite they seen everything but did nothing all they could do is look down.
our cab is here we walk across the street into the car it’s raining I open the door for my girl and who is outside staring at us the Effin cook! What a creep this establishment is trash will never go back
If you think I’m being insecure and over reacted about the situation you have probably never had been with many beautiful women as a Latin man respect is paramount when you lose it to another Latin man don’t be surprised if you find yourself laying on the floor wondering what the hell happen.
