Kindergarten through 4 th grade 1956 through 1961 ONLY five years. My memories of PS 5 are still intact. The internet has brought many of my school chums back to my life, after all these years. I left when my family moved. My mother passed away when I was a teenager. Mrs. Alma Kunz and Miss Hester V Healey kept in touch with me until they passed. They deeply cared about their students. Our wonderful friends and Mrs. Dorothy Siclari, Mrs. Kunz, Mrs. Eleanor T Gilbert, Mrs. Cornelia Iverson and Miss Healey are forever with me...
