Public School 16

This is the best school that I went to.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. When I tried to enroll my child, the people in the office were extremely unprofessional and rude. If this is a sign of how this school is operating, then I do not want to have anything to do with it. Stay away.

Amazing school with great staff and students.

the main teachers didn't really teach well enough to get good standardized test grades, based on my 3rd and 5th grade experience in the school, in 4th grade my teacher (ms mayerson) really helped me get good grades and i did, overall it was ok, i graduated and i currently attend Louis Armstrong Middle School. this was all based from 2011-2014, in my early years there was more things to do like clubs on friday, then it started to slump down and not many opportunities were allowed, only for the beacon program (which i was in) and it wasn't fair for the other kids at all.

I graduated in 2010 and personally i thought the school was pretty okay. It kept you busy in the afternoon with afternoon clubs, which was really cool. The school offered many opportunities, using connections, to allow students to experience ballroom dancing, ballet, and allowed many classes to participate in themed shows. The staff at the school was really nice as well. i do believe the school can improve and corrects it's small flaws but besides that id o believe it's worth enrolling into. Now i am in Louis Armstrong Middle School, and I'm going to high school next semester 2013-2014 at Academy of American Studies. i'm proud to be an alumni from PS:16Q.
