Delicious food, very attentive and knowledgeable staff, good wine, marvelous backyard and affordable prices. Also great music at a low volume. Really lovely experience.

One of my friends recommended this place, so we visited there a few weeks ago.

This cozy size Italian restaurant is located in the Williamsburg (one of the very nice areas of Brooklyn). Due to its size, if you want to go there with a group with more than 5 or 6 people, I highly recommend you to make a reservation at least a full day before (ideally 2 to 3 days before) for securing your seats. (and this can be said to most of the medium to small size Italian restaurants in Brooklyn).

The atmosphere is intimate and even romantic (slightly dark), so it is a good place for going out with someone special, I must say. Exposed brick wall and small bar. They also had a nice backyard. The service was nice and fast (but it could change on busy weekend dinner time.)

I love seafood. I especially love the calamari for my appetizers. It was lightly crispy outside, and juicy chewy inside. Perfect.

The appetizers mussel, which was a special for the day was also nicely cooked with a delicate light sauce, full of flavors.

For the entrée, my friend had Paillard di pollo. He said the chicken was so nicely tender and juicy with full of rich flavor.

I had the porterhouse, which was a daily special. It was juicy and perfectly done with full of flavors. (I decided this at the last minute, by seeing how good it looked on the seat next to us. Sometimes this is a very good idea to do so.)

My friend also had the tiramisu for the dessert, and he really liked it.

I had the chocolate mousse dessert, and it was truly wonderful.

They had Manhattan quality with Brooklyn price.

I highly recommend this place *****.

I really appreciate the outdoor backgarden at this little Italian place in Brooklyn. The food was not bad at all. But the service at our table (around twelve guests) was kind of sketchy, and made my visit less enjoyable.

Really really good everything. Pricy, but worth it.
