Hey, Joanne - I too went to PS 183 K-8, graduating in 1956. Loved those white graduation dresses we made in home-ec. I remember that gym as mostly dodge ball, with a bit of folk dancing for variety. Different times indeed. Ellen

-Ive read the reviews and so here it is... I graduated PS 183 in 2008. It was great. YES there is a gym program, in 2007 they had to take away the library and turned it into another classroom. In 2008 surprisingly they took away the Computer lab and turned that into a classroom as well. By that time the school got laptops so the kids will use laptops for computer class (problem solved). So in total there are 4 classrooms on the 4th floor.
