it is horrible the principal is so stuck up but most teachers are awesome

I give it an excellent review because of ONE teacher Mr. Bennett Lamond,The only teacher I recall that liked both young people and teaching. He taught the 6TH grade, He appeared very tall lean and fit , Balding with grey hair and wore glasses. Dressed well and appeared professional. He encouraged all and each of his pupils to do their best and said positive things about each student. A far cry from the out of control old ladies that made me sit on the edge of a pulled out drawer of their desk for some infraction it was believed I had done. As a student I was honored to be a crossing guard, white belts, badge and all. Also took erasers to the ground floor basement to the closet to Vacume the Chalk dust off, This was a great job. I enjoyed coming to the defence of those being bullied and somtimes got into trouble for fighting because of this.

I graduated in 1942 and the school was one of the best- glad to hear that it still rates great with schools- keep up the good work-our children need honest education-
