Prospect Ridge Veterinary Hospital

We changed vets recently and have found the folks at Prospect Ridge to be caring, knowledgeable and ready to help. We feel very secure having our puppy's medical needs treated by this professional and welcoming staff. The office is conveniently located on Route 10 near the border of West Orange and Livingston with ample parking. The facility is new, clean and well lit. Thus far, we are very happy with our choice. The facilities are brand new and the attitudes are fresh and inviting. Lucy, our English Mastiff, can be shy but they just brought her right out of her shell! We came in with a severe drooling problem. Dr Cappiello is wonderful and extremely knowledgable. Chatted with us and answered every question and concern. We didn't feel rushed at all and as far as we were concerned Lucy was their only concern. Certainly put my and my husband's minds at ease. We are so happy and feel so lucky to have found them!

I cannot praise Prospect Ridge Veterinary enough. Dr Cappiello and her staff have been wonderful with both of my cats. They are very knowledgeable, communicative, and caring. I switched to their office a few months ago after my one cat started to have some neurological health issues. I had been using a vet before this who while good, was located where I used to live over a half hour away. I wanted to find someone closer to home that I could easily reach.

Through out the process of trying to find out why my cat was having his strange symptoms that eventually evolved into seizures; Dr Cappiello did a ton of research. Not only did she get have testing done and explained what all of the various results meant but she ran all of his results past different neurologists and experts in the field to further understand what was going on. She and her staff checked in frequently and listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions.

While the end result is my cat has a chronic health issue that can’t be cured, he is doing much better. I am happy knowing both of my cats have a great veterinarian whom I can trust.
