I was referred here by a friend and i love it! Rachael is a great aesthetician and it literally doesnt hurt at all. I do laser hair removal with her, as she has the top notch machine. Definitely recommend this spot

I have been going to Proper Puss for a few months now and I love this place! Each time getting waxed it has been painless and clean. She really takes her time on each person and makes it an overall good experience. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Recently went for the 2nd time for an eyebrow wax- I have very thick eyebrows and Rachel does an amazing job keeping them thick while doing the right amount of trimming and shaping.
The space is beautiful- making apts is easy, and the prices are fair. I highly rec.

I've been to Proper Puss quite a few times since it opened and I have nothing but great things to say! I've had some pretty terrible waxing experiences in NYC so I was very nervous to visit a new salon. Rachel immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed - she's really great at distracting even the most uptight and nervous people. She is also very knowledgable and answers questions thoroughly. I am not saying this because it's what you want to hear I'm saying it because it's true - the waxing experience has minimal pain and lasting results. I highly recommend this salon.

Only positive things to say about my experience here! Have been to both the NYC and Ithaca locations with great results. Incredible service and extremely accommodating. Guaranteed great results! Highly recommend.
